- historiarum: (Latin) of histories, of inquiries (used in the Latin titles of historical works, e.g. Historiarum adversum paganos libri VII, Orosius's Seven Books of History Against the Pagans) → here the allusion is to The Annals of the Four Masters, a history of Ireland written in County Donegal in the 17th Century by a group of historians known as the Four Masters (File:MMLJ.png)
