- Enos: or Enosh, a Biblical character, the son of Seth, who was a son of Adam and regarded by Kabbalists as a greater magician than any before his time. In his time “men began to call upon the name of the Lord” (Genesis 4:26). In Jewish tradition, Enos is also associated with the beginning of idolatry.
- Enos: (Hebrew) "Mortal Man", a name in the genealogies of Adam, and consequently referred to within the genealogies of Chronicles, and of Jesus in the Gospel of Luke
