  • "Yes! we have no bananas!:" American hit song from the 1922 musical Make it Snappy. Te song us based on an actual banana shortage caused by a plant disease.

  • Havvah or Hawwah: The Hebrew name (חַוָּה) for Eve, the first woman. The name is rendered as "life" or "source of life". The name Hava is used in Latin in the Vulgate of the Old Testament.
