  • rainbow: Genesis 9.12 ff: "God said, This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you..."
  • skysign: a sign or advertisement (especially an electric or neon one) displayed on top of a building, and so constructed that the letters stand out against the sky
  • skysign: a message or advertisement written in the sky in sky-writing (e.g. using smoke from an airplane)
  • skysign: a celestial sign or portent
  • skyline: the horizon; a silhouette or outline against the sky
  • skysign: an astrological omen or portent; a sign of impending (and unavoidable) doom. "A paire of starre-crost lovers, take their life;" (William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet Act 1, Scene 1: Line 6.)
