- Thermite - reaction (a type of aluminothermic reaction) is one in which aluminium metal is oxidized by the oxide of another metal, most commonly iron oxide. The name thermite is also used to refer to a mixture of two such chemicals.
- Therm - is a non-SI unit of heat energy. It is approximately the energy equivalent of burning 100 cubic feet of natural gas at standard temperature and pressure.
- Mite - The mites and ticks, order Acarina or Acari, belong to the Arachnid and are among the most diverse and successful of all the invertebrate groups, although some way behind the insects.
- Thermidor - month of the French Revolutionary Callendar, during which the Thermidorian Reactionkilled Robespierre, Saint-Just and other leaderd of the Reign of Terror. The scene has shifted from the Zoans of Ireland to France, and the violance of HCEs fall is also the end of violance, uniting the two opposites.
