  • See Eucharist - The Body of Christ. The wheaten bread, and "white flour", used to make the Host.
  • Here, at the wake of Finnegan/Macool/HCE, his body and blood is consecrated through the blessing into the bread and ale giving HCE a familiar Christ/Osiris-archetype.
