- son of Hokmah: in Hebrew the adjective hakam is used as an honorific, this phrase alludes to such titles as that of a Torah scholar ‘Talmid Hakam’ (“student of a sage”) ... Hokmah is also personified throughout the Hebrew Scriptures as a woman to be pursued (in this case as mother)
