Jump to navigationJump to search- Thermite - reaction (a type of aluminothermic reaction) is one in which aluminium metal is oxidized by the oxide of another metal, most commonly iron oxide. The name thermite is also used to refer to a mixture of two such chemicals.
- Therm - is a non-SI unit of heat energy. It is approximately the energy equivalent of burning 100 cubic feet of natural gas at standard temperature and pressure.
- Mite - The mites and ticks, order Acarina or Acari, belong to the Arachnid and are among the most diverse and successful of all the invertebrate groups, although some way behind the insects.
