  • three ... castles: Dublin's coat of arms displays 3 blazing castles (the fire supposedly symbolizes the ardent loyalty of the citizens!). On the following page - page 23 - there is reference to Dublin's Latin motto, which appears under the castles: of the burger felicitates the whole of the polis, or “Obedienta Civium Urbis Felicitas”, which can be translated as “Happy the city where the citizens are obedient”
