  • Ensis Laurentii: (Latin: the sword of (Saint) Lawrence; in The Prophecies of the Popes, the legend matched with pope Gregory VIII (1187). He was Cardinal of Saint Lawrence in Lucina, of whom the arms were curved swords. He was pope for 57 days.
