Another capitulation of the rainbow:

  • rubric: Direction for the conduct of divine service inserted in liturgical books, and properly written or printed in red

  • The Rubrics: Red building on the campus of Trinity College Dublin, the oldest building at the university
  • mandamus: judicial order issued from a superior court and to an inferior court, commanding some specified thing to be done.
  • mandarin: variety of orange tree
  • Pasqua (Italian): Easter, in celebration of which priests wear gold (yellow) vestments
  • verde (Italian): green
  • verdad (Spanish): truth
  • Vendidads: subset of the texts of the Avesta, the primary religious text of Zoroastrianism
