Succoth is the Jewish Harvest Festival, sometimes called the Jewish Thanksgiving. It begins on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Tishri (roughly late September), on the fifth day after Yom Kippur. The celebration lasts for 7 days.

"Succoth," meaning booths, refers to the huts the Jews lived in during the 40 years in the desert after the liberation from Egypt.
