Good Dook Umphrey

• good Duke Humphrey: Humphrey Plantagenet, Duke of Gloucester (1390-1447). youngest son of English King Henry IV, brother of Henry V, and uncle.protector of Henry VI. He is a character in three Shakespeare plays (Henry V, Henry VI part 1, and Henry VI part 2.) His wife was tried for sorcery and heresy, while Humphrey was tried for treason.
