  • German Apfelbaum: appletree
    • Apple tree suggests Sir Isaac Newton's discovery of the Universal Law of Gravity after an apple supposedly fell on his head. The falling apple also relates to the original sin and fall of Adam and Eve.
    • A German for apple tree and the idea of gravity would also bring to mind Albert Einstein, who was born in Ulma (German 'elm'). Einstein's 'General Relativity Theory' showed how it was possible for light to be curved by gravity.
  • Up / fell (down): opposites (up/down) coexist in this word in the same way that through Quantum Theory it was proven that light is made of both waves and particles. Space and time were also united by Albert Einstein's theory of a Spacetime Continuum. Max Planck, the father of Quantum Mechanics is alluded to in "Splanck!".
