Isthmus of Sutton: a narrow isthmus located about 12km from the centre of Dublin at the base of the Howth peninsula. It is a tombolo and connects Howth to the mainland.

isthmos (ισθμος): (Greek) neck; peninsula → scraggy

eastmost: (adj) easternmost, farthest east
