Blackfriars

• Blackfriars - an area of central London.
• A Catholic religious order more commonly known as Dominicans, but in England and some other countries referred to as Blackfriars on account of the black "cappa" or cloak they wear. Carmelites are known as "Whitefriars" for the same reason.
