kuk : kaiserlich und königlich (Imperial and Royal) -- the Dual Monarchy that was the Austro-Hungarian, Habsburg Dynasty. In a sense, after the 1914 Sarajevo assassinations and WWI, the Empire would be "cuckolded" by the Allies in general, and Woodrow Wilson in particular.
