  • Ruminant Animals, such as cattle, goats, sheep and camels, digests their food in two steps. First by eating the raw material and regurgitating a semi-digested form known as cud, then eating the cud, a process called ruminating.
  • Ruminants have a stomach with four chambers, which are, respectively, the: Rumen, Reticulum, Omasum and Abomasum
  • Reticulum also refers to the constellation named after the Reticle, the instrument used to measure star positions.
