Jump to navigationJump to search- William Henry "Bully" Hayes (1827 or 1829 – 1877): a ship's captain who engaged in blackbirding (the kidmnapping of people to work as labourers.) In the 1860s and 1870s, he supplied Pacific islanders to work as near-slaves in Fijian and ustralian plantations.
