  • Claidheamh Soluis: an Irish term meaning "Sword of Light", or "Shining Sword". notably one of the four magic objects of the Tuatha Dé Danann, namely King Nuada's Sword of Light from Findias. The legend is that no one ever escaped from it once it was drawn from its sheath.
  • An Claidheamh Soluis ("The Sword of Light"): an Irish nationalist newspaper published in the early 20th century the Gaelic League. It ran from 1899-1932. One of its editors was the revolutionary Pádraig Pearse.
