- Enver Pasha (1881-1922): Ottoman general who lead Turkey in Balkan Wars (1912-13) and WWI. One of the three leading culprits behind the Armenian Genocide of 1915. Because he chose to fight with Germany in WWI, he is often charged with bringing on the collapse of the Ottoman Empire (1299-1922).
