• The House by the Churchyard: (1863). A nobel by Sheridan LeFanu, in which, "a character named Hyacinth O'Flaherty fights a duel in Phoenix Park because of a misunderstood conversation about earwigs. O'Flaherty appears to be killed in the duel, but later rises." (Robert Anton Wilson, Coincidance).
