Jump to navigationJump to search- Manneken Pis ("little man piss"), a small bronze fountain sculpture depicting a little boy urinating into a fountain basin. There is an ongoing dispute whether the example found in Brussels or the one in Geraardsbergen is the oldest in Belgium. Although the current statue was installed in 1619, a version may have been present as early as 1388. (Cf. Mannequins Passe on Page 532, Mannequins' Pose on Page 267)
