Myles the Slasher

Jump to navigationJump to search- Myles "the Slasher" O'Reilly: Irish hero of the rebellion of 1641 against the English. Leader of the Irish forces, he died on 5th August 1646 defending the Bridge of Finea (in County Westmeath) against British forces. Therer is a memorial to him in Finea.
