• sacred roof tree: a symbol of Osiris → Osiris was sealed in a sycamore (see FW 024.31) coffin by his brother Set and placed in the Nile; where the coffin landed a large tree grew up consuming the coffin within it's trunk; the tree was cut down and formed into a rooftree – still containing the body
