  • Rupprecht or Rupert: Crown Prince of Bavaria (1869 – 1955) was the last Bavarian Crown Prince. He was also heir-general of the Jacobite succession to the English throne, He commanded the German Sixth Army at the outbreak of World War I and achieved the rank of field marshal.
  • Prince Rupert (German: Ruprecht; 1619 – 1682): a noted German soldier, admiral, scientist, sportsman, colonial governor and amateur artist during the 17th century. His titles included Count Palatine of the Rhine, Duke of Bavaria, Duke of Cumberland. He was the nephew of King Charles I of England and was a leader of Cavalier troops in the English Civil War.
