Jump to navigationJump to searchThe four sided shape of the tetrahedron is the simplest 3 dimensional solid. It constists of 4 sides and 4 faces and 6 edges. It is a peculiar shape in that when stacked together these shapes form a spiral: thus a tetra-helix is a tetrachiral formation.
