Jump to navigationJump to search- Tiberius: (42 BC – 37 AD), the second Roman Emperor, stepson of Augustus. IHe spent his old age in semi-retirement in Capri, and was rumored (by Surtonius) to spend his time in sexual and sadistic excesses, orgies with young boys and girls.
- Tiberias: a city in present=day Israel on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee. Established in 20 AD, it was named in honour of the emperor Tiberius. one of Judaism's Four Holy Cities. It was destroyed several times by earthquakes.
