Jump to navigationJump to search- Tut - King Tutankhamun was Pharaoh of the Eighteenth dynasty of Egypt (ruled 1333 BC – 1323 BC), during the period of Egyptian history known as the New Kingdom. His original name, Tutankhaten, meant "Living Image of Aten", while Tutankhamun meant "Living Image of Amun".
- It was widely believed that the tomb of Tutankhamun was protected by a curse (see Bane) which would cause anyone who disturb his tomb to die shortly thereafter. See the wikipedia entry for Curse of the Pharaohs.
