Jump to navigationJump to searchValentine Vousden composed a song called the Irish Jaun-ting Car in the 1850s. Later the melody was adapted in America to a song about Free Staters. The Jaunting car was notable for its sidelong seating. Fin Mac Cumhaill's knights of Erin were known to fight from charriots with seating similarly arranged.
