William IV (21 August 1765 – 20 June 1837) was king of King of Great Britain and Ireland (1830–1837), and nicknamed the Sailor King due to his long service in the Royal Navy. Contemporary with Wellington. Was succeeded by Victoria.
Note that his mother was Sophia Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz; see Mecklenburk bitch on Page 5.
