Padma: Lord Brahma. Brahma (written Brahmā in IAST transliteration) (Devanagari ब्रह्मा, pronounced as "brəhmα:") is the Hindu creator god, and one of the Trimurti, the others being Vishnu and Shiva. He must not be confused with the Supreme Cosmic Spirit of Hindu philosophy Brahman (the word stems of both are the same). Brahma is identied with the Vedic deity Prajapati. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brahma

The Padma is a major river in Bangladesh. It is the main distributary of the Ganges River originating from the Himalayas. It enters Bangladesh from India near Chapai Nababganj. It meets the Jamuna river near Aricha, retains its name, but finally meets with the Meghna River near Chandpur and takes the name Meghna before flowing into the Bay of Bengal.
