- Iris: the rainbow goddess → rainbows in FW represent the end of conflict after a fall as a sign of gods promise to Noah (HCE) and the seven colours (an important number in FW) representing the members of the household: HCE, ALP, Shem, Shaun and Issy with the addition of either K and S the manservant or Issy's other personality and Tristan
- Trees: greenery → Irish and Catholic → ALP
- Irish trees: the tree is the symbol of Shem (Stem) as opposed to Shaun (Stone), hence Tristan (tree-stone)
- Iris Trees one half of Issy's split personality?
